While there are no schools located in the community, there are is shortage of opportunities for your students in Marion County. Public education is served by the Marion County School District and consists of 28 elementary schools, with some of the best being Anthony Elementary, Belleview Elementary, and College Park Elementary.
There are eight middle schools in the district, with some of your options including Belleview, Dunnellon, and Fort King. Ten high schools also serve the district, with Forest High, Belleview High, and Dunnellon High being some of the best. In addition, there are over 20 private schools, three charter schools, and 14 special needs schools.

Public Transportation
Public transportation in the community is provided by On Top of the World Bus Service, which provides free drops and pickups to shopping centers and transportation within the neighborhood. CareVan and Carelift also service the community offering drops to the Morton Plant area.
The nearest airport is the Ocala International Airport, which is just 9.6 miles away from the heart of the city. The County Bus Service helps people commute to the rest of the city and provide direct buses to other nearby cities in the county.
